Back when I was dancing in college, there was this trend that perhaps wasn't really a trend anywhere else. It mainly was for modern dance classes (not hip hop, guys) and it involved gauchos that we would wear on top of jazz pants. My college best friend and I, who I danced with, would actually coordinate what color gaucho pants we would wear to each class. We took those gaucho pants beyond modern class and wore them to jazz and hip hop. We would have rocked them in ballet if there wasn't a strict dress code. Truthfully, they were ugly AF, we had them in every unattractive color imaginable, and we were 100% BRINGING IT.
Now here I am, about 10 years later and I'm bringing it again. And just like the older, wiser, and sexier me (please, lets just roll with it) we now have the more mature, more sophisticated cousin of the gaucho pants.
Now we have... wide leg trousers. Or culottes. Major advantage: stretchy waistband aka all the cheeseburgers your heart desires.
